DAY 1:- - VADODARA – MANDVI (approx. 525kms)

Departure from Vadodara to Mandvi by road. Arrival at Mandvi, which is Located on the virgin coast of the Arabian Sea. Mandvi town was the premier port of the Kutch State. The Vijay Vilas Palace was built n the 1920's as a summer retreat of the Royal family of Kutch. Check in to the hotel. Evening at leisure. The interesting religious buildings at mandvi are the Vaishnav temple at sundarvan, Raneshwar temple, Laksmi Narayan temple, Jami Mosque. The center of attraction at Mandvi is the Vijay Villas palace. Overnight stay at Mandvi.

DAY 2:- - MANDVI

After breakfast visit to Kera Shivtemple (approx. 35 kms), Anjar (approx. 116kms) (Jesal Toral Samadhi), the Ajaypal Temple, and the shrine of Pinjora Pir. The bungalow of James Macmurdo contains remarkable examples of the art of Kutch. Return to Mandvi. Balance day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Mandvi.

DAY 3 - MANDVI – BHUJ ( Approx. 60kms)

After breakfast drive to Bhuj. Arrival at Bhuj, which is a flourishing walled city, is the most important town in the area. The old part of this walled town is a tightly packed maze of narrow winding streets, where horse drawn tongas, go about their business and the odd camel trundles past. It is a town with some character, where you breathe the air of the past, rub shoulders with tribal people turned out in colorful traditional costumes and where friendly shopkeepers in the baza, have not learnt the art of high-pressure sales. An ancient city that reflects the very essence of the region, it is embellished with fine monuments, palaces and gardens in a windswept land. On arrival, check in to the hotel. After fresh –n up drive to Nakhatrana (Fossil park) – Mata –no – madh is an old temple believed to be 1200 years old. It is dedicated to the Mother Goddess. The temple has many unusual features and its treatment of dimensions and of space is unique. – Lakhpat - once of flourishing port, and now deserted, reminds one that in ancient times, ships sailed to West Asia from Gujarat's west coast. Time stands still at Lakhpat, recalling to mind an era long past, through the many sites in the city, including the Sikh Gurudwara, and the 200-year tomb or dargah of Ghaus mohammed Kaba, Narayan Sarovar menas the Lake of Narayan, a name for Vishnu. There are actually five sacred lakes here. A temple complex is located on one of these. Narayan sarovar is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for orthodox Hindus. The architecture is ancient and awe-inspiring. – Koteshwar & return to Bhuj. Overnight stay at Bhuj.

DAY 4: BHUJ

After breakfast drive to Dholavira was once an important part of the Harappa Civilisation, proving that the Harappa culture extended to Gujarat. Excavations are still in progress. Visit the most important archaeological site of Indus Valley Civilization. Return to Bhuj. Overnight stay at the hotel.
